We have partnered with UpLift to extend our ability to serve mental health needs on campus.
UpLift offers virtual sessions at affordable rates (sometimes even free sessions, depending on your insurance) with therapists and psychiatric providers. Here are some common reasons students seek support:
Feeling stressed or overwhelmed
Time management<
Relationship concerns—including with friends and family
Loneliness and struggling to connect with people
="" p=""> ADHD
Anxiety<
Depression
Transitioning to a new environment
- Just needing someone to talk to
UpLift has a simple, effective matching process to help them find the right therapist or psychiatric provider for what you want to work on.
Want to sign up for UpLift? Instruct the student to follow the steps outlined below to have the UCSF Student Mental Health & Wellbeing help determine whether UpLift is the right fit for you:
- Schedule a brief consult through the student health record portal: https://myhealthrecord.ucsf.edu/
- Select ‘phone’ appointment for 15-minute check-in with SMHW Clinician
- Complete the Clinical Questionnaire after your phone consult has been scheduled and indicate the reason for visit as ‘Uplift Request’. In this call, a SMHW Clinician will determine whether UpLift is the right fit for your needs.
