Immunization Requirements and TB Screening

All UCSF students have immunization requirements.

New students receive an email from Student Mental Health and Wellbeing directing them to a secure message via myhealthrecord.ucsf.edu. The message shares the Student Communicable Disease Program’s (SCDP’s) pre-entrance health requirements and instructions on how to submit information.

Professional students have more extensive requirements based on the fact that they have patient care responsibilities.

Annual TB screening

Effective Oct. 13, the Student Communicable Disease Program (SCDP) has assumed responsibility for verifying health records for all registered UCSF students. Returning and continuing students must now submit their immunization and TB screening and TB test records via the OHS Portal which has been updated with a dedicated tile.

As part of this transition, all graduate students will now complete an annual TB questionnaire, aligning with best practices for campus health and safety.
