Welcome to the Wellbeing Haven - a new space created just for you!
The Health Promotion, Outreach, and Education (HPOE) team is excited to introduce a new non-clinical student space in Genentech Hall, Room 116. Designed with UCSF students in mind, this space is all about giving you room to pause, recharge, and connect.
Whether you’re looking to take a break from a busy day, learn something new, or build community, you’ll find a place here. From quick conveniences like a microwave for your lunch to study sessions with snacks during finals, this flexible space is here to support your needs. Stop by when we’re open to pick up safer sex supplies, menstrual products, harm reduction resources—or just to say hello.
Keep an eye out for our opening dates!
SMHW Groups
Groups & workshops are a great way for students to connect with peers, learn new skills and strategies, and grow both emotionally and educationally!
Ground rules, including confidentiality, are typically established with group members to help promote trust. To maximize the benefit, consistent attendance is strongly encouraged. Read Debunking Myths about Group Therapy to learn more about how group therapy works.

There are more than 170 RCOs at UCSF, covering a broad range of interests including educational, social, cultural, artistic, recreational, political, and spiritual focus. These organizations combine to sponsor over 2,000 diverse and exciting activities each year. Consider joining or forming an RCO as a great investment in your out-of-classroom time.
